the crickets outside are much louder\nthan I can remember\ndid my car always make that sound\nwhen the key gets turned around?\ndo people normally call my name\nfrom so faraway?\nlectures suddenly don\u2019t seem so draining\nall the knowledge is finally retaining.\ncoffee shops and restaurant hops\naren\u2019t as scary as they used to be\nI can actually hear every person I see\nand my responses are no longer\na confused nod and a ponder.\nI never realized how captivating it is\nto hear every pitch of your favourite song\nor your mothers voice singing along.\nI thought the listening aid\nwould change everything\nworrying over the judgement it could bring\nbut now there isn\u2019t anything I would trade\nfor the difference it\u2019s made.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Hearing health matters just as much as all other spheres of health. Nobody should be afraid of what the world will think about how they look after their precious ears. Appreciate the blessing of all senses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am so grateful for my audiologist and Oticon for the huge impact they’ve had on my life with helping me get the listening aid I need. And more than ever, I am grateful for all the friends and family that supported me through this journey. You know who you are, and YOU gave me the confidence to share this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
